Have I mentioned that the BRC Board of Directors is a deep bench? These are the people I turn to for inspiration, for strength, for advice, and a whole lot more.
I've been keeping a pretty hectic schedule on this tour between the meetings, the rides between, and the sidetracks, so I was glad to have the opportunity to park for a couple of days at Vince Farace's place near Hershey, PA. Vince is a member of the BlueRibbon Coalition Board of Directors. He is also an avid Toyota Land Cruiser enthusiast. Sharing that common interest, I've known Vince for a long time and, more importantly, I value his guidance. Plus, Vince and his wife, Bettie, are just plain good people. It was awfully nice of them to open their home and put me up for a couple days. Thanks guys! I needed that.
Part of the recharge is being able to download a lot of what I have been hearing on this ride with Vince, categorize it, and come up with a plan to improve on what I am doing. That is what Vince does best. He has spent a good portion of his life doing just that, first as a college professor and then as a successful consultant. I/we are lucky to have his expertise at BRC.
